4/16/20 Daily Update

Today’s report includes another positive case, as well as 15 negatives. While positive numbers have remained low the past week, the public health fight against COVID-19 isn’t over yet. Please stay home, wear a mask if you are working or have to go out in public, wash your hands, and sanitize common surfaces. Most importantly, if you are sick please stay home, treat your symptoms, and call a doctor if your symptoms worsen. A community update is available at fb.com/montrosecounty and includes key information from public health, Colorado State Patrol, Montrose Memorial Hospital, and the City of Montrose. This information can be found at https://covid19.colorado.gov/case-data. Public health has been in daily contact with these facilities, providing guidance on CDC recommendations for personal protective equipment and safety procedures.
