Vaccine providers can now offer third doses of Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines to immunocompromised individuals following recommendations from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP).

Please speak with your healthcare provider about whether getting an additional dose is appropriate for you.

The CDC does not recommend additional doses or booster shots for any other population at this time.

Additional doses are free.

The additional dose should be the same vaccine product as the first two doses.
